Legendary Lincolnshire independent Delaine Buses is planning a running day with a difference later this year. Plans are being drawn up for a Twilight Mini Running Day on Saturday 15 October.
Delaine’s museum will be open from 1330 to 1930hrs and there will regular bus rides on classic buses from Bourne to Rippingale and Market Deeping. “It’s just something different – and will give people the chance to ride on a bus with tungsten lights,” said Delaine Director Kevin Delaine-Smith. A Heritage Running Day is also scheduled for Saturday 23 April from 0930 to 1630hrs, with the museum open and guest vehicles present.
