The bus industry is one which is full of real characters. One of those is Len Newnham, who I was invited to meet at Go North West’s Queen’s Road depot. With the recent transfer of the depot from First to the Go-Ahead Group, it was a chance comment that lead to the discovery that Len is the longest serving driver in any Go-Ahead Group company.
