Gareth Evans reports on last week’s CPT annual Coaching Conference, which featured a range of insightful speakers about the importance of embracing the digital world – including opportunities and threats for the coach industry

The theme in the ‘blurb’ said it all – ‘Embracing the digital world: maximising online opportunities.’ It served as a reminder, if it were required, that technology and the traditional way of doing business in the coach industry is fast evolving.

Held at Volvo’s smart Warwick headquarters, the coach link between nearby Warwick Parkway railway station and the venue was provided by Johnsons of Henley-in-Arden, in the form of a smart Plaxton Panther 2-bodied Volvo B11R, with a friendly driver behind the wheel.[…]
