Electric buses have moved from being a novelty to being almost the norm over the last decade. The technology is no longer new or unusual, and most, if not all the major manufacturers have electric city buses in their portfolio. But what about all those diesel buses out there, which still have a lot of life left in them? And what about the operators or cities whose budget won’t stretch to meet the high initial cost of brand new electric buses?
