London-based EOS Buses has announced that from close of business on 31 July 2018 it will no longer be operating services 66, 86, 87 and S1.

Routes 66, 86 and 87 will instead be operated by Arriva Herts and Essex. There will be no change to the routes, however there may be some minor timetable changes.

EOS Buses said it hopes to post the new timetables on its website shortly.

The company’s mobile ticket sales ceased on 26 July 2018 and the company has advised customers with a monthly ticket to contact mobile tickets direct for a refund.

While service S1 will no longer operate after 31 July, 2018, the company said alternative travel arrangements are available via the Central Line at Epping Station.

Services 13, 62 and 133 will be operated by Swallow Coach Company.

Chris Hunn, Transport Manager, said: “I would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their custom over the past few years – operating EOS Buses in today’s economic climate is very tiresome.
“We hope that Arriva Buses will invest in your services, improving the shape of travel in and around Harlow, Waltham Abbey and Loughton.”
