The most recent partnership on the Flixbus UK network has been announced as Eurocoaches. An experienced express coach operator, Eurocoaches will begin operating routes in the West of England for the inter-city operator from April. Managing Director of Flixbus Andreas Schorling commented: “Recently the industry celebrated the anniversary of the first scheduled coach route between Bristol and London, which launched 100 years ago. Coach travel has stood the test of time, and we are now proudly representing its future, growing our network with operators like Eurocoaches to bring high quality services to the next generation.”
Eurocoaches was founded in 1980 and remains family-run. It is one of the largest minibus and coach hire operators in Bristol and the South West. Director William Sanzo said: “We are excited to be growing with Flixbus as the smarter, greener express network. We have wanted to join for some time, and this spring is the right time for both businesses. The Flixbus team, particularly Josh Eeles, Flixbus’ Senior Business Development Manager, have been brilliant, and we have built a great relationship. We foresee a fantastic future together in partnership.” Eurocoaches will operate a Volvo vehicle on the Flixbus network, adding another vehicle to the total of over 200 lime green coaches planned to be on the road by this summer.
“Flixbus is driving the renaissance of coach, with passengers of all ages and backgrounds trying our services and returning to them. We have every reason to be positive as we grow our network as we approach our 4th year in the UK, and we are excited to roll out our services, with the support of our operator partners, to more than 80 destinations,” concluded Andreas.
