Stagecoach East Midlands has announced details of extra services and increased frequencies to serve the annual Hull Fair, one of Europe’s largest travelling funfairs. From 4 to 12 October, up to a third more buses will be in operation at the busiest times on Park & Ride services from Humber Bridge, Priory Park, Kingswood, Bransholme and East Hull, with departures every 10 to 15 minutes.
Service numbers 3, 7, 7a, 10, 10a, 11, 11a 12, 12a will run regularly to Hull Fair with buses from 1600-1900hrs Monday to Friday and from 1300-1900hrs on Saturday. Shuttle buses are also available from Hull Interchange Bay 4 via Park Street up until 1930hrs. Later return services will also operate this year leaving up to 2315hrs from Anlaby Road/West Park.
Fares start from £3.50 for an adult return ticket, £9 for a family ticket for up to two adults and three children, £1.80 for children under 11 and £2.30 for children aged 11-16. Passengers travelling with a friend can also take advantage of a Duo return for £5.25. The shuttle bus service is free for those travelling with a return ticket purchased on other services.
