Smiles all round. At the triumphant end of the last day of 68 after the final run driven by Ross on the B-type and Alan on Trident 339, – a lovely family group clustered around the last two buses at the Pier stop in the setting sun, with the writer unexpectedly taking the controls for a last lap over the route to return special guests to connection points west as far as Leigh-on-Sea.
