First Berkshire recently unveiled a specially-liveried bus to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year, which will be operating on the firm’s route 8 which that runs past Windsor Castle on its way from Slough to Heathrow Airport.

The newly liveried bus was launched by First Berkshire Operations and Engineering Manager Mudasar Ali at its Slough depot. The special livery was inspired by the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee official logo, and was designed by First in partnership with Best Impressions. As well as running on route 8, First Berkshire will also use the special Jubilee bus for celebratory events during the rest of Jubilee year. Mudasar said: “We are very proud to run services in the Royal County of Berkshire, including serving Windsor, so marking this unprecedented and very special jubilee is important. Route 8 really is a royal route, so it is fitting to commission this special livery.”
