First Worcester has re-launched its most popular route with refurbished vehicles and new branding, whilst First Leicester is preparing for the LEZ. Richard Sharman speaks to First Midlands Managing Director, Nigel Eggleton for an update on the division

Service 35 is First Worcester’s most popular route, serving Lowesmoor, Rainbow Hill, Brickfield, Blackpole and the Warndon area. It has undergone a transformation which has seen the introduction of larger, better-specified vehicles that have benefitted from a full interior refurbishment and repaint.

The official launch for the newly-branded Nimrod service took place at Worcester’s Guildhall, right in the centre of the city’s busy pedestrianised area on Friday 5 April. One of the vehicles was present, along with a red carpet, a promotional team and live classical music. […]
