
GERMANY Scania Deutschland has delivered the first Scania Touring coach for use on the Meinfernbus.de network to familyrun Gebr Wiedenhoff in Solingen.
The green two-axle model is powered by a 410hp is used on long-distance scheduled coach service work.
Constantin Wiedenhoff said three factors had convinced his firm to acquire the vehicle: “The proven Scania technology, which is known for low fuel consumption and high efficiency; the repair and maintenance contract; and the good price-performance ratio.”
Frank Koschatzky, Director Sales buses, Scania Germany Austria enthused: “Not without reason, the Scania Touring is now known as the breadwinner.”
