First Travel Solutions (FTS) was delighted to support CSE (Corporate & Sporting Events) with transport for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Para Athletics Championships which have been taking place in London this month.

A number of operators including London Hire Ltd, Westway, Ensignbus, Ealing Community Transport and First Slough, Bristol and Bath amongst others have all provided buses, coaches and accessible minibuses.

This event gives the public the opportunity to see the world’s best para athletes compete at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London from July 14 until July 23.

Richard Kirk, Commercial Director for First Travel Solutions, commented: “It’s a real honour to be involved in this world class event where some of the best para athletes in the world were competing.

“We have ground staff supporting services that are operating for these para athletes throughout the event as well as supporting and operating a number of ad hoc services. Our staff have thoroughly enjoyed supporting the organisers of this event as well as getting the opportunity to watch some of the para athletes in action too.”

Attention for FTS now turns to the IAAF World Championships that are taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London from August 4 until August 13.

FTS will be supporting the event organisers with on-the-ground transport requirements.
