First York is honouring past and present colleagues by painting a bus in the livery of its predecessor
A 10-year-old Volvo B7RLE with Wright Eclipse bodywork, YJ08XYO, has been outshopped in Rider York guise to, says First York, “acknowledge the business’ heritage.”
A message on the side of the vehicle reads: “Dedicated to team members of Rider York and First York, past and present.”
Yorkshire Rider was formed from the bus operation of West Yorkshire PTE in 1986, being sold to its employees two years later and taking over West Yorkshire Road Car in 1989. […]
