1.Plaxton 2019
A press test of the brand new Plaxton Panorama double-decker coach in May 2019 took me to a very wet Hull. Acklams provided their stunning example and the test drive commenced from their depot in Beverley. I recall thinking at the time that the Volvo chassis dynamics and powerful Volvo B11R engine, mated to the Panorama body made for a great combination and that it would do well. Since then I have commuted, as a passenger, to London on them with the Oxford Tube on multiple occasions.
