New month, new launch for Flixbus, this time in Ontario, Canada. Operated by local partner Skyway Coach Lines, the new Windsor-London-Toronto-Ottawa route provides a direct bus connection to the university city of Windsor, home to around 400,000 people, and offers a new option in Ontario that provides connections from Ottawa beyond Toronto without transfer.
At the same time the operator is launching another inter-city connection between Guelph and Kitchener, and Hamilton and Niagara Falls. Operated by local partner Gallexy Tours, the new route will connect a number of universities that Flixbus says are poorly served by other transportation companies and where people rely solely on their cars.
The company is also doubling capacity on its Toronto-Niagara Falls route.
