The 1951 Eastern National Bristol KSW that ferried supergroup Wings on a European tour in 1972 will be among the stars of this year’s Showbus Flyby on 18 June. WNO 481 made its post-restoration debut at last year’s Classic Motor Show at the NEC. Now the Bristol, which appeared at the first Showbus in January 1973, will be among the buses in the Flyby, in which buses will be travelling in both directions between Brunel University at Uxbridge and RAF High Wycombe from 0900hrs until around 1700hrs.
