The Nottingham Heritage Vehicles Charity is going international with events celebrating Hong Kong and Swedish buses and coaches in 2024. These will be based at its premises, the former Trent depot at Hucknall, as part of a busy 2024 programme beginning with an open day on 14 January.

The Hong Kong Bus Association UK, which aims to preserve and foster interest in vehicles used in the territory, takes centre stage on 17 February, and on 27 May after a successful Volvo-themed running day in November, there’s a ‘Sweden Comes to Hucknall’ event, with the emphasis on Scania and Volvo vehicles. Operators as well as private owners are being encouraged to bring suitable coaches and buses along.
