A transport group is offering an AEC double-decker free to a good home for restoration, and is promising to run its New Year’s Day event in some form, reports Nick Larkin
the 1962 AEC Renown on offer is a massive project but the Friends of King Alfred Buses (FoKAB) hope it can be restored. The bus, registration 7552 MX, was new as an AEC demonstrator and later ran for many years with Burwell and District.
