To celebrate the expansion of its Book-a-Bus demand-responsive transport (DRT) service, residents travelling via any of WeMove’s West Sussex ‘Book-a-Bus’ services were able to travel for free during the month of February.
The Book-a-Bus demand-responsive transport (DRT) service, operated by WeMove for West Sussex County Council, has expanded with the introduction of a new ‘96 Flex’ zone serving those in the north west area of Chichester, following the launch of the initial Book-a-Bus service in rural areas around Petworth and Chichester with limited or no traditional bus service. It also has plans for further expansion of the scheme, which operates between 0700 and 1900hrs Monday to Saturday.
