Jonathan Welch pays a visit to West Yorkshire operator Travel Xpress at its base in Shipley, which has grown from one taxi to operate a fleet of coaches which includes three new Temsas

Based in Shipley, just outside Bradford, is Travel Xpress, a company run by father and son Fida and Muazim Hussain. It operates a mixed fleet of coaches and buses on a variety of work, including private hire and school contracts. The pair are assisted by a team including operations manager Corey Boulton, who was kindly on hand to help pose one of the company’s latest arrivals for photographs.

In late February, Travel Xpress took delivery of a trio of new Temsa coaches, supplied by TSUK from its dealership in nearby Cleckheaton. The new arrivals comprised a pair of HD13 57-seaters and an MD9 39-seat midi. Shortly after their delivery, we caught up with Muazim and Fida for a chat to find out what is driving the business’ growth and investment in new vehicles.
