The latest round of London bus tender results have been announced, with only a single contract changing hands.

Quality Line gained the 293 from Metrobus. The service will operate with a Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) of seven, utilising new Euro 6 single-deckers along with one existing double-decker, from September 1, 2018.

Arriva London South retained five routes.

These were the 60 (PVR 15, 2010 double-deckers upgraded to Euro 6), 166 (PVR to be confirmed, 2011 Euro 5 single-deckers), 412 (PVR eight, 2013 Euro 5 double-deckers), 612 (PVR two, 2008 Euro 4 double-deckers) and 685, a PM-only journey which will use a single 2013 Euro 5 double-decker from the 412. All recommence on September 1.

Arriva London North also retained two services – the 73/N73 (PVR 34, 2015 Euro 6 New Routemasters) which renews on September 1, and the 144 (PVR 16, 2011 Euro 5 double-deckers) which renews on October 13.

Five other operators retained contracts. Stagecoach Selkent’s 356 (PVR seven) will utilise new Euro 6 single-deckers and one existing Euro 6 diesel built in 2014 from September 15.

Quality Line’s 404 will use a single new Euro 6 single-decker from September 29.

The other contracts, all renewing on September 1, are Metrobus’ 434 (PVR three, 2013 Euro 5 single-deckers), Sullivan Buses’ 626 (PVR four, 2009/10 Euro 5 double-deckers) and Metroline’s 634 (PVR one, 2011 Euro 5 double-decker).
