The Go-Ahead Group is working in partnership with Tranzaura to deliver digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency across its regional bus services in the UK. The collaboration is a five-year partnership and, says the company, highlights its commitment to innovation, reliability of bus services and as a result, increased customer satisfaction.
By October, Go-Ahead’s expects that its bus companies will be able to streamline pre-service daily vehicle inspection checks and maintenance processes electronically through the Tranzaura app. This transition from traditional paper-based records to mobile apps will enhance reliability, safety, and sustainability across Go-Ahead’s extensive fleet of more than 6,000 buses, benefiting customers UK-wide, the firm says.
The Tranzaura app gives real-time compliance visibility and audit trails to help operational and management teams at Go-Ahead, and the firm says that by using photo capture, dynamic reporting and real-time communication tools between drivers and engineers, it will help to ensure the smooth operation and overall reliability of its services.
Go-Ahead says it is implementing the use of the app across all its UK operations after a successful trial in London. Chief Executive Matt Carney said: “Our partnership with Tranzaura reflects our dedication to digitalisation, embracing innovative solutions to streamline processes and improve the way we work. By incorporating Tranzaura’s digital solutions into our operations, we will achieve new levels of fleet reliability and efficiency, creating safer and more reliable services for customers.”
CEO of Tranzaura Shane Mann added: “The Go-Ahead Group and Tranzaura partnership is built on trust and an excellent working relationship, helping to drive higher standards for defect reporting across the bus industry. Tranzaura is proud to be able to support Go-Ahead in not just driving operational efficiency but also delivering more value to customers. We look forward to a continued successful partnership with Go-Ahead over the next five years.”
