The UK’s first air-filtering bus was launched last Thursday at the Guildhall in Southampton city centre. This exciting trial had been kept under wraps until the day of the launch, with no one knowing what type of vehicle or system would be used.
Southampton first to trial the system
Go-Ahead has chosen Go South Coast’s Bluestar subsidiary to operate this trial as the World Health Organisation has revealed that Southampton is on the limit of unsafe air pollution.
