Go-Ahead’s investment in apprenticeships has been recognised by the Department for Education and by The Sunday Times in their Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list. The recognition celebrates the company’s on-going commitment to creating career opportunities for the next generation of transport professionals and to building a workforce that local communities.

There are currently over 1,400 apprentices at Go-Ahead across its rail and bus operations, undertaking apprenticeship programmes which cover customer services, engineering, management, and driving qualifications, including a recently-announced new bus engineering apprenticeship. Group People Director Sam Williams said: “We’re extremely proud of the high-quality apprenticeships we have on offer at Go-Ahead. These not only support people across our communities into the workforce but also set us up for future success.”
