Golden Boy Coaches of Hoddeston has taken delivery of a new 14-seater Euro 6 X-Clusive Sprinter from EVM’s sales office in Crawley, West Sussex.
The Sprinter is based on a Euro 6 516Cdi 163bhp common rail direct injection diesel engine, which is coupled to a seven-speed G-Tronic automatic gearbox with Blue Efficiency.
Passenger entry is provided with a new Masats plug-type passenger electric entry door, with manual emergency release and exterior key lock facility. The integrated three stage entry step is lit with LED Strip lights and has stainless steel inserts.
Passenger luggage is contained within a full depth drop boot, with fold out flap and stainless steel boot protector. An EVM coachback boot door is specified with gas lift up struts.
EVM’s Panoramic double-glazed saloon windows have been installed and are tinted in privacy grey. The vehicle also features a glass panoramic roof with manual sliding blinds.
Climate control is handled by Mercedes-Benz in-dash Tempmatic air-conditioning, along with Eberspächer saloon air-conditioning which is ducted through the interior luggage rack with individual passenger service units.
For passenger entertainment, the vehicle carries an Audio 15 Upgrade radio/CD system, with iPod and Bluetooth inputs. A PA system is installed with a hand microphone, and a 17” monitor is recessed at the front of the vehicle, with a DVD player incorporated into the dash.
The 14 EVM Executive Class seats are finished in real leather, and feature seatback fold-up tables and magazine pockets.
The vehicle features full EVM X-Clusive body-styling, colour coded bumpers, moulded side skirts and a grill in Mercedes-Benz metallic black. This vehicle also comes with Euroliner wheel trims.
As with all EVM minibuses, the vehicle is completed to European whole vehicle type approval, and comes with full three year Mercedes-Benz unlimited mileage chassis warranty.
