One of the point made many times over the last couple of years and was brought up at the recent CPT Conference is that with a few exceptions, the coach and bus industries have a habit of just ‘’getting on with it and not publicising the work they do day-in, day-out to keep people moving. Whether that’s at corporate, office or individual level, there are often stories which go by unnoticed. Social media is a good way to see some of what is going on around the industry, and a number of stories popped up on CBW’s feeds in the last couple of weeks, including these from LinkedIn…

Stagecoach in Cumbria & North Lancashire’s Operations Director Tom Waterhouse shared this excellent customer care story from local social media, a great example of driving and depot staff going the extra mile to reunite shoppers with their shopping.

Meanwhile, in London, a customer took the time to compliment Go-Ahead London driver Darren Titre-Wilson who made their journey that little bit easier, whilst in Wales First Cymru driver Keith Thomas has been doing his part in promoting the job and encouraging others to follow in his footsteps at a job he clearly enjoys.
