For the first time on Boxing Day, Reading Buses will operate a service on the full length of its Green Line route 702 providing a link between Reading, Slough and London. The route normally runs between Windsor and London, but on Boxing Day will also provide a fast service between Reading and Slough, with guaranteed connections to Windsor available in Slough using Green Line service 703.
Said Robert Williams, Chief Executive Officer at Reading Buses: “With the traditional railway shutdown on Boxing Day we thought this was a great opportunity to help keep people connected.”
