Three BYD ADL Enviro200EV all-electric buses have gone into service with Salisbury Reds on the Wiltshire city’s Park & Ride services. Andy Izatt went along to the launch

Go South Coast’s Salisbury Reds has introduced three BYD ADL Enviro200EV all-electric buses on two of its five Park & Ride routes serving the Wiltshire cathedral city. The services to benefit from the £1.2m investment are the interworked PR9 serving Britford, and Petersfinger PR15 which require four buses, the fourth being one of the 12 Enviro200 diesels that have been allocated to the network since the Park & Ride contract was awarded by Wiltshire Council (WC) five years ago.
