Yutong welcomed visitors from around the world to its global headquarters on 8 June for the official launch of YEA, its integrated control technology platform for new energy commercial vehicles, of which 15 examples were on show, including buses, coaches and commercial vehicles. A TC15E coach was among the vehicles shown at YEA, which gives a taste of what the new GTe14 may look like when it arrives in the UK, as its first new tri-axle electric coach. The vehicle’s range is expected to be between 200 and 280 miles, depending on how many battery packs are specified, with up to 63 seats fitted in the 13,970mm long coach.
