Harris Auto expands dealer network with five new appointments

Harris Auto has announced five new dealer appointments in Ireland & the UK.

The company’s coach and bus range now includes Higer, LDV and AOS manufactured by Anadolu Isuzu, and ranges from minibuses to 70-seater coaches powered by diesel and alternative fuels.

RWT Commercial Services is the first new dealer to be announced by Harris Auto.

Located in Birmingham, for over 30 years RWT has been providing service to an array of well-known operators, including as National Express.

RWT is a ‘vital link’ in Harris Auto’s expansion process, the company says.

John Hill Coach Sales and Services is widely-recognised in the Midlands, and has been selling a range of buses and coaches for many years.

John and his team will look after the midlands and London for Harris Auto’s product range.

Albion Coach Sales is a subsidiary of Hunters Executive Coaches and Rowe and Tudhope – two long-standing coach operators who are now expanding into coach sales.

Having moved into new purpose-built premises ideally located in Central Scotland, the firm is set to represent the Harris Auto range both in the retail business and its own fleet.

Donegal Auto Services, run by the Ferry family, has been involved in the bus and coach building industry for over three decades.

Joe and Stephen have modern facilities located in the Northwest of Ireland, and say they are delighted to be a part of the Harris Auto network.

The company is also part of the team developing the new range of vehicles for Harris Auto.

Finally, HAJ Group (NI) specialises in repairs and servicing of all fleet vehicles.

Located in Northern Ireland, HAJ Group provides services to clients such as the NHS and the education authority.

Now as part of its expansion plan, Andrew at HAJ has joined forces with Harris Auto to bring the Harris range of vehicles to Northern Ireland.

Chris Haughton, General manager of Harris Auto, said of the announcement: “We are very excited with the new partnerships and to be building a strong sales and servicing network throughout Ireland and the UK.

“With our increasing investment, we will continue to develop our brands into major contenders and we hope to bring more innovation to the bus and coach industry for many years to come.”

All of the Harris Auto product range will be available to view at the 2018 Euro Bus Expo in October at the NEC Birmingham and the CTTC show on 17 and 18 November at the RDS Dublin.
