Hartmut Schick has ‘turned Daimler into the world’s most successful bus producer.’ DAIMLER

GERMANY Head of Daimler Buses, Hartmut Schick, is to leave his post to become the new Head of Daimler Trucks Asia, succeeding Marc Llistosella who is leaving the company by March 31, 2018 to pursue new career challenges. DTA is the Asian subsidiary of Daimler Trucks and Buses which includes Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks and Bus Corporation and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. There has been no announcement yet as to who will succeed Hartmut.

“Marc Llistosella has contributed to many important milestones of Daimler Trucks,” said Martin Daum, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG for Trucks and Buses. “We thank him for his great commitment and wish him all the best for the future.

“In Hartmut Schick, a very experienced and internationally minded commercial vehicles executive is taking charge of our business in Asia. In recent years, he has turned Daimler into the world’s most successful bus producer, characterised by an integrative management style. We are delighted that he is taking over this important task in Asia.”
