We all know that childish excitement of Christmas, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Father Christmas, keen to see what presents he might have brought. And for operators who are buying new vehicles, there’s often that same feeling of anticipation. Well-known Lincolnshire operator Delaine Buses has received a very early Christmas present in the form of a new Alexander Dennis Enviro400City, already wearing its March 2025 AD25 DBL registration plates, some three months early.

Collected by Delaine on 27 November, the bus will not enter service until the start of the new registration period in March 2025, in line with the company’s policy of regularly placing new vehicles in service with the twice-yearly change of registrations.
