Bicester-based Heyfordian Travel has entered into a partnership with the Transport Benevolent Fund CIO (TBF), whereby the coach and bus operator is contributing towards the cost of its staff taking up TBF membership
eyfordian staff and their families will immediately qualify for the wide range of benefits available to TBF members, including help with medical, legal and welfare issues.
Stephen Smith, General Manager of Heyfordian, said: “Being family-owned for 70 years, Heyfordian has always tried where possible to support our employees – many of which have been with us for decades.
“In an ever more difficult world, we researched how we could support them further and the answer came in the form of the TBF. The fund offers extensive benefits to its members at great value for money and as such this made our decision to offer the subsidised membership scheme to the entire team.”
Michael Gibson, TBF Organiser, said: “We are delighted to welcome Heyfordian, a well-known and widely respected operator, to the growing number of industry employers who are contributing to the cost of TBF membership for their staff. The support of employers such as Heyfordian is a significant factor in the TBF’s current growth, which has seen membership rise to a new record level at over 53,000.”
