German retrofit specialist HJS Emission Techn has announced it’s working in conjunction with a major London coach operator to develop a Euro VI upgrade SCRT system for the Euro V Setra 416 GT-HD coach.

Development of the system is almost complete according to HJS, and Millbrook testing is to take place in the coming weeks.

The company says it has received ‘a huge amount of interest’ from operators, and is welcoming enquiries from GT-HD owners.

HJS systems are certified through the Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS) and provide live system status and performance information that is uploaded to a user-friendly Cloud based platform.

The system will allow operators to take their Euro V Setras into Clean Air or Ultra Low Emission Zones. STEVE BUTLER/HJS
