We take a look at some of the vehicles on display at this year’s UITP public transport summit in Barcelona

From 4 to 7 June, Barcelona played host to the international UITP public transport summit, with conference sessions and displays from European major manufacturers and suppliers, covering all parts of the public transport sector, including bus and rail and of course a heavy focus on data, autonomy and technology.

Daimler Buses

The first series production Mercedes-Benz eCitaro with fuel cell range extender made its debut at the event. The latest development of the long-running Citaro series builds on the growing success of the eCitaro in battery-electric form. The articulated bus variant, available from June, can run for around 350 kilometres without having to recharge, and provides capacity for up to 128 passengers.
