Irizar (UK) has announced an increased UK support and parts network.
Midsomer Norton-based Centurion Travel has been appointed as the parts and service dealer to cover the South West of England. The joint-venture dealership is located near to Bristol and Bath. Commenting on the appointment, Martin Spiller, Managing Director of Centurion Travel said: “Centurion Travel has successfully operated and maintained Irizar Integral coaches in its own fleet for some years and is now able to offer parts and technical support to other Irizar operators, local and passing.”
Additionally, Hayes-based coach operator City Circle has been appointed as an official service dealer for operators in the Heathrow area.
City Circle Engineering Manager Steve Maw said: “We have good experience with the product as we already look after the maintenance requirements of some local Irizar Integral operators, including Passenger Plus and A La Carte. This latest move allows further expansion of our service offering.”
Meanwhile the South East Field Service Engineer team has been expanded due to further deliveries of Irizar Integral coaches to operators in that area.
Gavin Brown, who previously ran the maintenance department at Crawley Luxury Coaches, will have the specific remit of covering London and the South East area.
He joins Field Service Engineers Darren Bradshaw, Jon Clark and Richard Covell who carry out vehicle servicing, diagnosis and vehicle repairs at customer’s premises.
