Irizar delivers in Cyprus

For the first time, Irizar has entered the medium-distance public transport market in Cyprus with an order for 31 Irizar i3 and Irizar i4 models in the region of Paralimni, Agia Napa and the surrounding areas. The contract for operator OSEA, includes 20 Irizar i3 coaches and 11 Irizar i4 coaches, all 12 metres long with a single wide central door, and based on a Mercedes-Benz chassis.

The vehicles are equipped with a Masats K7 model PRM platform and have 51 seats, a wheelchair area, and 2 PRM seats to guarantee accessibility and easy movement for all passengers. The interiors of both types have high capacity climate control systems so passengers and drivers alike can have a pleasant travel experience.

The coaches have lumbar adjustment seat belts in all seats to improve passenger safety and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), pedestrian and cyclist protection, as well as CCTV that monitor the passenger areas. The vehicles also include a multimedia and information system with 15” screens and USB charging ports. The coaches also have racks for the carriage of bicycles.
