The start of April can only mean one thing. No, not Easter or chocolate eggs, but April Fool’s Day. Of course, there were countless examples across social media, some more obvious than others. Midway Motors went for a rather obvious though creative one, whilst that posted by First Worcester might have made a few pause and think; virtual reality on board its buses. Kevin Mayne of Maynes of Buckie went big, suggesting that the firm (which does a lot of work with incoming cruise passengers in the north of Scotland) has launched its own cruise line, whilst Phillips International went for something altogether more mundane with the idea of a window-to-window baggage delivery service. Barnes Coaches’ bright pink ‘hen do’ coach isn’t all that implausible, though we’re not sure the description of the imagined interior would make us that keen to get on board!
