The coach tour company says demand is growing for its high-spec coaches with ‘first class’ seats and extra legroom
Reflecting on three years of its Luxury Traveller coaches, Johnsons Coaches has added a fifth coach to the line-up. Over the past three years, the operator estimates that its Luxury Traveller coaches alone have operated around 450 departures since they first commenced touring on the 17 May 2021, carrying around 15,000 passengers.
In 2024 the company has added a further brand new 43-seater Luxury Traveller coach to its touring fleet, which it says means that over 40% of its tours will now be operated by the Luxury Traveller brand. It is apparent from the level of growth experienced in three years that customers are being drawn to the enhanced on-board luxury facilities on offer, the company says, including ‘first class’ seating and extra legroom, reclining seats, complimentary hot and cold drinks, free WiFi and a complimentary gift bag.
“The essence of our Luxury Traveller brand lies in our high-quality tours, where high-quality travel seamlessly matches the exceptional hotels we use. Every journey on our Luxury Traveller coaches, whether an upgrade or a full luxury tour, includes complimentary hot and cold drinks on board. It has been proven by our customers that securing another Luxury Traveller in the fleet was the essential thing to do,” said Tours Manager Barry Cobb.
