Johnsons ‘potty’ brochure launch raises £758 for charity

To celebrate the launch of their Summer 2016 Day Excursions Brochure, Johnsons Coach Travel took over 400 clients, and its sister company Whittles Coaches recently took 100 clients to the World of Wedgwood and Trentham Shopping Village for a ‘potty’ day out.

Clients were welcomed to the World of Wedgwood with a Danish pastry and coffee, then John Johnson Commercial Director for both presented the new programme in the form of a fun and interactive quiz which kept everyone entertained, whilst also telling clients about the venues and attractions to visit in 2016, with prizes too.

There was also a charity raffle, in aid Johnsons’ Charity of the year, The Shakespeare Hospice – and a total of £758 was raised.

Clients were then free to explore the varied attractions including the Factory Outlet, the Museum Shop and the Design Studio. This was followed by a visit to Nearby Trentham Estate, where customers were free to browse the shops or visit the wonderful Gardens.

John said: “These were great events it’s always great to meet our clients face to face and explain the new excursions we have planned for the summer and hear their feedback and comments. We would like to say a big thank you to the staff at both the World of Wedgwood and Trentham Shopping Village for supporting our event. A great day was had by all.”
