Just Go Holidays’ customers have been busy knitting for Ukraine after the tour operator invited its customers to show their solidarity by producing warm hats for newborn refugees, which are in short supply. Over 100 have already been sent in to the Just Go headquarters in Cheltenham, with more arriving each day.

Andy Freeth, CEO of Just Go parent company the JG Travel Group, said: “We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness of our customers, who have taken the time to knit these tiny hats for those babies so in need right now. We are receiving more and more every day which is incredible and is just one small step in helping the people of the Ukraine. If anyone in the industry would like to help by knitting hats, we’d be thrilled to receive them.”

The first batch of hats sent to the Ukraine in mid May and the operator said it will continue to accept donations until the end of June.
