A restricted PSV operator has lost his O-licence after failing to tell the Traffic Commissioner (TC) he did not have a main occupation.

Imtyaz Lakdawala, trading as Lak Transport Services, continued operating vehicles for five years following his change in employment status.

At a Public Inquiry in Cambridge, the Deputy TC Marica Davis concluded that Mr Lakadwala knew of the requirement to have a main occupation. There had been a change in operating centre in January 2016 and in the maintenance provider without notifying the TC’s office. His licence was revoked from 2000hrs on September 9, 2016.
