West Midlands operator Landflight is modernising its operations with Velociti Solutions to increase operational efficiency and enhance its passenger experience. Serving the region since 1974, the operator is replacing its manual systems with modules from Velociti’s Omnibus Software Suite, a move which it says will streamline processes and reduce costs, helping it to optimise its operational processes, particularly the accurate capture of drivers’ hours for payroll purposes. Additionally, Landflight is adopting Velociti’s Engage driver app to enhance workforce management with real-time communication, easy access to duty information and instant notifications of any changes.

Operations Manager at Landflight Leigh Russell said: “Landflight is committed to providing efficient, accessible and reliable bus services. By modernising our operations with Velociti Solutions and implementing the Omnibus Software Suite, we will improve efficiency, gain greater control over our processes and enhance the passenger experience.

“This partnership will streamline day-to-day operations and position us for long-term growth, allowing us to adapt swiftly to changing demands and elevate our service levels.”

Nick Brookes, Chief Customer Officer at Velociti Solutions, added: “We’re excited to partner with Landflight. By implementing the Omnibus Software Suite, Landflight is stepping into a new era of operational excellence, joining operators and transport authorities transforming their processes with our technology. Together, we are refining Landflight’s service delivery and equipping the operator with the tools to meet business objectives and drive long-term success.”
