Wiltshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit had an unusual catch recently, when it ‘caught’ what it described as a ‘freshly stolen bus’ from Bristol on the M4, doing its best to hide in a motorway service area. ”Some help from the public and a swift foot patrol by RPU arrested the driver” the force said on social media, with the driver suspected of taking the vehicle without consent, driving under the influence of drugs, and other driving offences. In a new take on the classic quote, “you wait and wait for a bus and then… a stolen one arrives!” the force joked.
