Among the more modern buses at the event was former Stagecoach H654 VVV, the last of five similar buses delivered in October 1990 in Stagecoach ‘stripes’ livery with United Counties fleetnames. After a spell in Northampton, the bus moved to Kettering then Bedford before being withdrawn in 2010. It was acquired by Mortons Coaches of Basingstoke and used on rail replacement and school services until 2016 when it was preserved and regained Stagecoach livery. It is now in the care of members of Northampton Transport Heritage. EMILY WHITLAM
