Routemaster reminiscing
Reading through CBW1366 I was interested in the photo article on Routemasters after life in London, and particularly the picture of XMD81A (RM429) (orig. WLT429). Prior to Capital Citybus ownership, it ran between 1988 and 1990 with GM Buses in Manchester, who had a fleet of Routemasters running on dedicated route 143 ‘Piccadilly Line’ between West Didsbury and Manchester Piccadilly.
