A young restorer whose immaculate London Transport BL class Bristol LH has caused massive interest has now turned his attention to another classic: a legendary 1951 London Transport AEC Regent RT bus that was shut away for almost 40 years. Tim Hines reckons his new project, RT 2629, registration LYF 354, will take five years to complete. “There’s a lot of work and I’m not going to rush things,” said 22-year-old Tim, who lives near Wrexham in North Wales.
