Links Golf St Andrews has taken delivery of a new Euro 6 X-Clusive VIP eight-seater Mercedes-Benz Sprinter from EVM.
The new model Sprinter Euro 6 519Cdi is powered by a 191bhp V6 diesel engine, coupled to a seven-speed G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
A new Masatsplug-type passenger electric
entry door is specified, with manual emergency release and exterior key lock facility. A three stage entry step and LED strip lights is specified.
For luggage, a full depth drop boot with fold out flap and stainless steel protector is featured. The vehicle also comes with a complete raised floor with sunken gangway.
Mercedes-Benz in-dash Tempmatic air-conditioning provides climate control for the driver, while the saloon is covered by Eberspächer air-conditioning ducted through luggage racks above the passenger seating.
The eight VIP Class seats which the vehicle carries are finished in real leather. For passenger entertainment, an Audio 15 Upgrade radio/CD system with iPod and Bluetooth inputs is installed, and uprated saloon speakers linked to a pair of 17” monitors recessed at the front and rear of the vehicle are specified, along with a DVD player incorporated into the dash.
