Coach parking all day or overnight in Llandudno has increased.

Conwy County Borough Council has increased the price from £10 to £12 for a stay of up to 24 hours, although stays of up to four hours are priced at £6.50 per vehicle.

The increase comes after significant investment by the council at the Builder Street coach park. The dedicated coach parking area has recently undergone extensive reinforcement works in order to secure the perimeter fencing. Regular nightly patrols also take place and a CCTV camera is set up to identify coaches entering and leaving the coach park.

Payment for parking at Builder Street does also allow for parking in Morfa Bach, Conwy. Set-downs and pick-ups can also still be made at Mostyn Broadway.

Conwy County Borough Council’s Parking Services Department confirmed that the price change is not directly affected by the above improvements. A report was carried out in the area which instructed a review of parking charges across the board. Due to the fragile economic climate the council had opted not to increase the prices for parking since 2008, despite annual reviews.
