London Scania donated to museum

One of the earliest examples of the Scania CN94UD with Polish-built Omnicity bodywork to enter service in London has been donated by RATP Dev to the London Bus Museum. SP1 was new in 2006 and is one of the small batch with six-cylinder Scania engines, rather than the five-cylinder version fitted to the remainder of a fleet of more than 250 vehicles in London. Several operators took advantage of the attractive price and delivery dates for this type, which represented a high water mark of Scania vehicles in the capital.
